The Life Applied Early Start Program (LAESP) is a family-centered, evidence-based service catered to young children (0 to 36 months) who are at risk of developmental delays or diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Services include developmental monitoring, intervention, ongoing assessment/evaluations, and parent training.
Our highly qualified and experienced team will review your children’s conditions through a holistic approach. LAESP aims to support your child’s development and increase your family’s capacity to meet your child’s needs. All services focus on bolstering your child’s physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive skills through the use of scientifically validated assessment tools, teaching methods, and lessons.
The Importance of Early Intervention
Scientists have determined that the brain’s ability to learn new skills decreases with age. At three years old, the brain will reach nearly 80% of its adult size. Working with young children creates the best opportunities to advance their development, create stronger neural connections, and expand their capabilities with new skills they can use throughout their lives.
